Resources, help and inspiration to help you run your Group’s and Sections while we are unable to run face to face meetings. We’re still in the very early stages, so we will post more ideas as they develop and come through, but in the meantime, here’s some ideas you can try:


The Scout Association has put together some fun activities and resources for young people do do. These are designed to count towards badge work. They are currently more aimed at the Beaver and Cub age, but Scouts may find them fun too!

If your your Group has OSM, they have set up a new feature called “Badges at Home” in the OSM parent portal. This will enable your young people and parents find activities to do and complete badges while they are away from their section meetings. Here’s Ed Jellard of OSM to tell us about it:

Just be mindful when you develop your own remote scouting ideas, we still have a responsibility for safeguarding, so please do continue to use the the rules set out in the Scout Association Yellow Card or the Orange Card if you’re a Young Leader.
